How to care for your pillowcases
- Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F), gentle cycle
- Wash with like colors. Wash alone the first time
- No bleach
- No fabric softener
- Tumble dry low, or line dry in the shade
- Warm iron on the reverse side if needed
- If you run warm at night, wash every 3 to 4 days
Keep the box. It stores the set flat, and it makes gifting easy next time.
Why no fabric softener?
Softener coats the fibers with a thin waxy film. That film blocks the airflow that keeps you cool and dry. So the fabric stops doing the one job you bought it for. Want extra softness? Add half a cup of white vinegar to the rinse instead.
What to expect on the first wash
A little dye can rinse out the first time. That is normal for deep dyed viscose. Wash the set alone once and it will never be an issue again. The weave may also relax a little. That is the fabric settling in.
Getting the envelope closure right
There is no zipper. Slide the pillow all the way in, then tuck the end under the inside flap. The flap holds the pillow in place all night and keeps the closed end looking clean. Fits standard queen pillows, 20 x 30 inches.
